It feels as though Jorja Smith, with only a couple of singles under her belt, came out of nowhere and blindsided us towards the end of the year. Undeniably, a supreme talent. Sultry, jazzy, the R&B artist demonstrates singer-songwriting at it’s very best. If there is anyone ever good enough to fill the shoes of Amy Winehouse then Jorja is a definite contender.
Originally from the small town of Walsall Jorja Smith made the move to London and is fast becoming a favourite in the capital. She’s collaborated with Maverick Sabre and is set to be on countless ‘ones to watch’ lists.
We fell in love with Blue Lights which gained heavy support from our team and we’ve have had the new Project 11 EP on repeat in Amazing Towers. A certain performer at next years Wireless Festival we can also see her doing well at Bestival. Let’s be honest she’ll probably play here, there and everywhere in between, and why not!
