News: Musicians Against Homelessness 2017

Monday, April 3rd, 2017 - by Mark

MUSICIANS Against Homelessness (MAH) this week launch their 2017 campaign to raise money for the homeless charity Crisis and were supporting them 100% of the way.

Former Oasis guru Alan McGee launched the campaign in 2016 and a whole host of superstars are getting involved. Shaun Ryder, CastLilly Allen, Russell Brand and Irvine Welsh have put their name to the cause. Last year over 100 MAH gigs and festivals featuring more than 500 bands and artists took place over a four week period in England, Scotland and Wales. This year’s gigs will take place throughout September and will be overseen by MAH’s team of knowledgeable regional managers; all are experienced in music, events and PR – and lovely people too! The twin aims of the project are to raise vital funds for charity and to provide gig opportunities for up-and-coming bands.
